I thought I was going to continue writing about my previous summer backpacking trip, but I decided to write more about my time in London (since it's still fresh in my mind). This trip took place a few months ago, when congee gave me a free ticket to visit the Warner Bros studio because his friend couldn't make it. The Warner Bros studio is located northwest of London 15 minutes bus ride away from Watford Junction. This is where the magical Harry Potter Series was filmed, with original gimmicks and costumes used in the real film. There are also a bunch of really nice models of architecture from the movie! Anyways I'll try to keep the picture count low in this blog, because my last post had way too many photos which made viewing the blog really slow!Read More
So this is the post where I post a lot of pictures of places I've visited in London. I wanted to keep the picture count low for this post, but I realized that it is really impossible for me to make this a short post, since I've been living in London for around 4 months and been to a ton of places I want to share. All these places are organized in chronological order and no other specific ordering strategy! I will continue on my long a do eurotrip posts after this blog! First I'll just show a map of the places I've been in London! These places include architecture and restaurants that I visited and some places I wanted to visit but didn't have time!
I was tempted to split this post into many parts, but in the end I just went with this really long post!
Here is the tldr photo album link of some of the places I visited in London

Since schools in London have shorter semesters, the UPenn London AA starts a bit later than the normal 700 studios in Penn. (Approximately 10/1, but our own studios with Homa starts 9/17 with a short intro to the AA on 9/15). Living is also not accommodated by the school, so we had to look for short term leases on our own. ( Housing costs range from 150 pounds[275 USD] a week to 400 pounds[600 USD] a week, depending on location and size). In general most of us took 2 other electives along with our required studio course. Most of us also traveled a lot during the weekends because of the close proximity to amazing countries!Read More
This is part 3 of my trip, which consist mostly of the cities I visited in Italy! A friend of mine came from the states to join me in this Eurotrip(We both received the E. Lewis Dales Traveling Fellowship.) I thought I would be able to cover my whole trip in Italy my last post, but I was completely wrong... I think this post will be just of Venice similar to my last post, because the Art Biennale was going on when we were there. Maybe I will try to cover more or else this Euro trip will be split in too many parts!Read More

This 45 day backpacking trip began after the end of my paris summer program. A friend of mine came from the states to join me in europe for this Eurotrip. As of now this has been the craziest and most energy consuming trip in my life. I'm not sure whether it was a good idea planning everything so condensed, but we definitely made the most out of each place we stayed. By the end of this trip I have already stayed in europe for over 80 days and travelled to 12 countries(including Vatican city) and over 23 cities across europe.Read More
This blog is from a trip about 6 weeks ago, it was just around when the semester started, and just like my trip to Cambridge, I didn't really go the traditional route to see the Harry Potter sites. Timing was also bad, so I couldn't get in a lot of the university since new students were moving to Oxford. This will be a rather short blog post since I visited a very limited amount of tourist attractions.Read More
I went to Brecon Beacons at Wales four weeks ago with a few friends, and stayed over in a small lodge for two nights. This is where all the bed bug nightmare began for me. The first day we got there it was already pretty late so we just had some traditional welsh food and drove near a lake to see the night sky. The next day we drove up to the mountain ranges of Brecon Beacons to climb Pen y Fan, which was a 5 hour hike.Read More
